• NPCC’s Cyber Crime Programme funded 20/21 to establish regional Cyber Resilience Centres (CRCs) across the UK, to support delivery of National Cyber Security Strategy 

  • Successful bid into the National Programme to establish Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East (SECRC) secured in March 2020 

  • SECRC will operate as a not for profit self- sustaining commercial enterprise with elected CEO/Board 

  • SECRC will report into the National Specialist Cybercrime Board, which oversees the National Programme

  • Success of the Centre will require strong policing, political and industry support

To create an effective partnership between police, public, private industry and academia in order to grow and strengthen the Region's resilience to online crime and cyber- attacks through the provision of expert advice, tailored memberships and cost-effective services

  • To provide cyber security consultancy and services to hard-to-reach businesses and organisations who would otherwise be unable to access affordable support

  • To provide NCSC approved cyber security advice, guidance, products and services

  • To work with the best emerging student talent in support of innovative service delivery

  • Through innovation across sectors seek to exploit new forms of technology to maximise all opportunities for prevention and earlier intervention 

  • To build business confidence by demonstrating policing understands the unique needs of business

  • To encourage greater cooperation and reporting across all sectors

  • To support the growth of cyber and ICT skills talent
